Cal1319 0 Posted December 14, 2025 Posted December 14, 2025 This may have to do with Emby. I got a 3rd gen fire cube so I can play back DTS and Atmos audio files. Got it set up and was playing every movie I wanted through direct play perfectly. Now today all my movies with DTS play for 10 sec or so and then freeze and then plays again and stutter. It is playing direct play both audio and video. Any clue what might have happened? I didn’t change anything on my end and don’t think anything updated itself. Thanks! Oh btw atmos files play fine it’s just the Dts ones.

I played the movie 9 yesterday about 3/4 of the way with no issues, now its bugging out 5-10sec after starting. I also tried with Avatar, same thins. Just the DTS audio files are messed up. Cal1319 0 Posted December 15, 2025 Author Posted December 15, 2025 I’m having a similar issue. DTS pass through is killing the movie for some reason. All other audio include Atmos/TrueHD work no problem.

Cal1319 0 Posted December 16, 2025 Author Posted December 16, 2025 Ok this must be an Emby issue. If I clear cache and data log back on if the first movie I play is DTS it will work flawless. If I play any other movie, or if I try and play another DTS movie after the first it is broken. Only way to fix it is to force quick the app clear cache and data and log back on. Any clue why this might be happening or potential fix?
