Live TV Closed Captions not working

Hi, 

I can only get Closed Captions to work in the Android app if I enable "Prefer direct streaming of Live TV". Unfortunately this does not allow me to rewind or fast forward Live TV. So it seems like I have the choice between closed captions or seeking while watching Live TV. 

Any help would be appreciated!
