justinrh 259 Posted December 12, 2025 Posted December 12, 2025 Using the web app on my client computer, I was seeing what was on a few channels (because guide data is wrong). So I started viewing channel 1, back, channel 2, back, channel 3 - but this channel was not rendering (low signal?) - back. I went and did something else for a couple of minutes. Tried to browse Emby and nothing. I tried to log into the server box but I couldn't do that, wouldn't even show me the login screen. I could see a good bit of HDD activity from the case LED. I let it sit for over 5min and still could not get anything out of the server box. I had to do a hard boot. ffmpeg-transcode-ba931bce-777b-4195-b299-87d11afb39ae_1.txtffmpeg-transcode-0a3573e2-85f4-4938-9bda-31a437193ea7_1.txtembyserver-63901071926.txtffmpeg-transcode-bcd09db6-96dc-474b-b0df-bebc8b58a424_1.txt
Luke 42077 Posted December 12, 2025 Posted December 12, 2025 Hi, was the server process still in task manager? You could try removing the disk space plugin and then see if it happens again.
justinrh 259 Posted December 12, 2025 Author Posted December 12, 2025 I couldn't get into the server, Luke. I couldn't even check for a process remotely because the system was so busy doing something it wouldn't allow a shell connection.
Luke 42077 Posted December 12, 2025 Posted December 12, 2025 OK that would have been good to know if the server process actually crashed or something had just hung.
