Tyttew 0 Posted December 10, 2025 Posted December 10, 2025 I have a video with 2 subtiles, one english that is intern to my file and one external on srt format. When i Play the video online, both subtitles are displayed. But when i download the video on my phone to watch it offline, the external subtitle is not displayed. I did try with another video with external srt subtitles and i have the same result. But in the past i used this same file and it was working. I try with 2 video format : MKV and MP4 for the same result. Is there anything New that Can cause this issue ? Any solution ?

Luke 42077 Posted December 10, 2025 Posted December 10, 2025 HI there, can you please provide a specific example? How to Report a Problem Thanks !
Tyttew 0 Posted December 11, 2025 Author Posted December 11, 2025 Hello, Here is the log. I did a dowload just before getting the log. I did a few more test too. I changed the dowload location on my phone to "External storage(Downloads)" (I hope this is the correct translation because I use the app in french) and I saw that the str file is not downloaded, only the mkv file. And if I manually add the srt file on the same folder, the subtitles are still not displayed on emby. I don't know if this can help you Thank you for your help logs_Emby.txt
derycklong 0 Posted February 7 Posted February 7 I have the same exact issue as this. However, this only happens if I use the same network as the server to download. Using a different network from the server to download, the external subtitles displays.
