denzoid 57 Posted December 10, 2025 Posted December 10, 2025 Not sure when this changed exactly, but a huge majority of my movies are pre-1960, and therefore almost none of the writers have images. Is there a way/preference to change the order so actors are listed first?
Happy2Play 9780 Posted December 10, 2025 Posted December 10, 2025 Do you write nfo files? Does only Emby write the nfo file? But it is per the order they appear in nfo file. Lots of discussion here

Lots of discussion here Only Emby writes the NFO files and for the movie in my original post actors are listed first in the .nfo <movie> <plot>Old sailor Chris Christofferson eagerly awaits the arrival of his grown daughter Anna, whom he sent at five years old to live with relatives in Minnesota. He has not seen her since, but believes her to be a decent and respectably employed young woman. When Anna arrives, however, it is clear that she has lived a hard life in the dregs of society, and that much of spirit has been extinguished. She falls in love with a young sailor rescued at sea by her father, but dreads to reveal to him the truth of her past. Both father and young man are deluded about her background, yet Anna cannot quite bring herself to allow them to remain deluded.</plot> <outline>Garbo Talks!</outline> <lockdata>false</lockdata> <dateadded>2025-11-24 09:43:42</dateadded>
Anna Christie
<originaltitle>Anna Christie</originaltitle> <actor>
<role>Anna Christie</role> <type>Actor</type> <tmdbid>19549</tmdbid> <imdbid>nm0001256</imdbid> <tvdbid>473388</tvdbid> </actor> <actor>
<role>Matt Burke</role> <type>Actor</type> <tmdbid>30527</tmdbid> <imdbid>nm0001948</imdbid> <tvdbid>265717</tvdbid> </actor>
Luke 42077 Posted December 11, 2025 Posted December 11, 2025 Hi, what if you refresh the metadata on this title, does that charge the order?

That worked for that title, so I refreshed metadata for the entire library, and as far as I can tell, that has reset the order and actors are first again. Thanks! 1
