how to download only one season not entire Series?

I'm trying to download just one season, but the entire series starts downloading. watch the video attached.

how to download only one required season?

additional question is about GUI: why does downloads controls and status aren't in the Downloads tab but elsethere???

there is only one "Download" button

That is the series screen. If you go to the season screen, then you can download just the season. There are numerous ways to get to the season screen. One way is to use the long press context menu on an episode and select go to season.

One is if you configure your series display to always show season folders, then on the series screen you'll see season folders instead of the episode list. That mainly just depends on whether or not you want to have the extra layer to click through.
