IIIMADDINIII 3 Posted December 8, 2025 Posted December 8, 2025 I also encountered the problem. But with H264 encoded files of Star Treck Discovery. First and last Season plays. The others not. The only difference in the info I found was the aspect ratio. But the issue seems to be related to server transcoding, because when I forced it, it crashed every time. I just tested 3.5.17, which works fine. Sadly I can not send logs again, because of the testing the playstore only installed 3.5.16 and not 3.5.19 (even with beta tester enabled). Hope this information helps with finding the problem and when the playstore decides to give me 3.5.19 again I will attach the logs.
Luke 42077 Posted December 8, 2025 Posted December 8, 2025 @IIIMADDINIII Hi there, let's look at an example. Please attach the information requested in how to report a media playback issue. Thanks!
IIIMADDINIII 3 Posted December 10, 2025 Author Posted December 10, 2025 I just got the 3.5.19 update again. At 5:20 (4:20 server time) I tried to play a video where the app crashed. At 5:21 I played a different video which worked. If you need more information, please let me know. embyserver.txt emby_android_1765340365956.txt emby_android_1765340407742.txt
