Metadata all messed up

I haven't had much time to really look into it, but "recently" I had all my metadata get screwed up. New media getting added seem to be just fine, but everything that was older is now borked. I have attached a screenshot if I show it alphabetically. It used to have all the posters and such, but not it is hit and miss. I wonder if this was due to an update or something and if there is an easy fix. I wasn't able to even manually update it as it would just show empty when I searched for a movie, that seems to be fixed now.
