This?
emby-newb 2 Posted December 31, 2025 Author Posted December 31, 2025 So wanting to shutdown the emby server, move the files out of the library to somewhere else in the nas, re-edit and do all changes, then move them back after a while for the cached data to go away, and restart. See what that does. Opinions?

emby-newb 2 Posted January 25 Author Posted January 25 (edited) Hey everyone sorry for the long delay. I uploaded the dump of the log file instead. I uploaded: "The Pink Panther Cartoon Collection" (https://www.imdb.com/title/tt12768740/), and manually edited it since it was not working. Well after emby was updated, it wiped everything which is the topic of this post. Also uploaded "The Flinstones" (https://www.imdb.com/title/tt0053502/) and "The Jetsons" (https://www.imdb.com/title/tt0055683/) They're all broken and manual updates to metadata get rewritten. Several other TV series like: tiny toons adventures (https://www.imdb.com/title/tt0098929/) Fallout season 2 (https://www.imdb.com/title/tt12637874/) are also broken as shown in previous posts and again in the included attachments. Hopefully you guys can figure out what the logs say because Im not sure what is happening. Appreciate you all. embyserver.txt Edited January 25 by emby-newb

Appreciate you all. embyserver.txt 32.07 kB · 0 downloads No info comes directly from IMDB so what they have is not always what TVDB or TMDB have when it comes to cartoons. What is are your enable metadata providers for this library and their order? Only one potentially exact will be OMDB but will not have as much info per item. But if you are manually editing files you will need to ensure you LOCK the metadata as any refresh of the Show will/could update wrong data from enabled providers. As for the client issue first question would be does it have issues in the Web Client?
