Seek dragging slider

When I try and fast forward a video on my iPad using the Emby App the slider just snaps back to the current play position and doesn't move the video forward to the time I request. If I pause then drag the slider it acts like it will but then when I resume play it stays at the same spot (not where I fast forwarded). Using the seek 10 seconds forward works nominally. 

 

For example, if the video is at 5mins in and I pause it and drag the slider to 20mins, the slider shows 20mins. Then if I hit unpause it goes back to 5mins.

 

The time seek slider works nominally on the iPad using Safari.

Hi, yea I think you need to start the seek by grabbing a hold of the round dot and then it won’t do this. Have you done that?

On the iPad there is not a round dot.  But if I grab the seek slider where it currently is the same behavior occurs.  Would a screenshot / video help?

Wanted to follow-up to see if there was any other thoughts.  Would a video of me showing what it is doing help?
