Radical924 24 Posted December 4, 2025 Posted December 4, 2025 Hello, I recently decided to install the Emby Android app instead of the Android TV app to get more features on my Android Box. Well for some reason the search feature doesn't work. It pulls up the keyboard on the top but if you search for anything even with 1 letter it says no results found. It also doesn't have any search suggestions like on a phone. Any ideas? I've updated the app, checked permissions, and cleared cache. I am using a Buzz TV 5 Classic Android Box.

Edrock200 53 Posted December 5, 2025 Posted December 5, 2025 I can reproduce this somewhat consistently on the latest emby prod build. The scenario is a bit specific. Has to be a full emby client, in my case emby for android. User must NOT have access to all library paths, only a subset. With this scenario, zero results. Enable access to all paths, and search results return.
