MediaEmby1968 47 Posted December 3, 2025 Posted December 3, 2025 All the banners on the home screen have disappeared on the server; only the home and favorites tabs are visible. They're working fine in the Samsung app. I've attached a screenshot of what's happening and a log. embyserver.txt

Have you by chance disabled them?
MediaEmby1968 47 Posted December 4, 2025 Author Posted December 4, 2025 I haven't changed anything, everything is the same, I used it, and yes Luke, it is in the web application, in the sansumg app it appears correctly. Files have not been deleted, but nothing appears on the home screen. What I did was try to change an emby image, renaming the file. Nothing that has an effect on the libraries, I cleared cache in the browser, restarted the server, nothing changed, restarted the server again and it stayed like that. I have restarted the server several times, I have restarted the PC several times, but nothing remains the same, I have tried other browsers (chromiun, opera, firefox) and it looks the same.
Neminem 1518 Posted December 4, 2025 Posted December 4, 2025 Did you check these settings, as @yockerasked about?
Happy2Play 9780 Posted December 4, 2025 Posted December 4, 2025 Also what custom css are you using? 1
Luke 42077 Posted December 4, 2025 Posted December 4, 2025 Also Hi there, please attach the Emby server log from when the problem occurred: How to Report a Problem Thanks!
MediaEmby1968 47 Posted December 4, 2025 Author Posted December 4, 2025 Let's take this step by step, @Neminen. I checked, and it's working exactly as it was; nothing has changed. @Happy2Play, the CSS I was using was Dark (but with the changes you helped me with). Even after switching to the default, it was still the same (I just switched it back to the default). @Luke, here's what I think is the first one. embyserver-63900384399.txt

MediaEmby1968 47 Posted December 4, 2025 Author Posted December 4, 2025 Regarding the home screen: This is how I have it and how it used to be.
Luke 42077 Posted December 4, 2025 Posted December 4, 2025 Is that for the same user that is logged in? As you've blanked out the name we can't really verify that.
MediaEmby1968 47 Posted December 5, 2025 Author Posted December 5, 2025 Hi @Luke, there's only one user account, and we don't share it or access it remotely. My wife and I have used it just as a home media player before. It's still the same today. I tried creating a new user account and logging in, as you suggested, but it's still not working.
Luke 42077 Posted December 5, 2025 Posted December 5, 2025 OK. Please try clearing browsing data and let us know if that helps.
MediaEmby1968 47 Posted December 5, 2025 Author Posted December 5, 2025 It's still the same. I just deleted all the data in advanced mode, and it's still the same; nothing shows up. It only affects the home screen, because the settings and even the libraries in settings are visible. But nothing appears on the home screen.
Luke 42077 Posted December 5, 2025 Posted December 5, 2025 And is this all in Brave? Can you try Chrome and see how that compares?
MediaEmby1968 47 Posted December 5, 2025 Author Posted December 5, 2025 I used Chromium because I don't use Chrome, but it's the same. It's still not showing up. I tried it in Firefox and the same thing happens. This is what I removed from Brave, Chromium, and Firefox—basically everything that could be removed.
Luke 42077 Posted December 5, 2025 Posted December 5, 2025 Does that include browsing data? Can you please provide the contents of the browser debug console? Also are you able to update to Emby Server 4.9 ?

If it includes browsing data ¿Puede proporcionarnos el contenido de la consola de depuración del navegador? I hope I've done this correctly, as I've never done this before. I went to the server settings and under Logs/Settings, I enabled debug logging. Then I restarted the server and downloaded the log file, which I've included here. ¿También puedes actualizar a Emby Server 4.9? As I already mentioned, I use Manjaro Linux. Here, updates aren't automatically received; they're given to you when they deem it necessary. I'm using the stable branch, and I'd have to switch to the unstable branch, which I don't want to do. embyserver.txt Edited December 5, 2025 by MediaEmby1968
Luke 42077 Posted December 6, 2025 Posted December 6, 2025 If you go to your home screen settings using the web app and just change one of the sections, does that resolve it?
MediaEmby1968 47 Posted December 6, 2025 Author Posted December 6, 2025 I have changed not one but all of them, and it remains the same, nothing changes. If I install the server again, over the installation I already have. What would happen? After doing so, which folder should I make a backup copy so as not to lose all the posters and multimedia information? Would it just be the Metadata folder?

Did you try to remove all custom css from the custom css box?
