It is not supported because Emby does not support it. 
Basically it is a rare format that is so rarely encountered that Emby has not, at least yet, felt the need.

But, you never know. This kind of question get asked quite often and most of the time there turns out to be a reasonable reason.

Remember, Emby is much like God in that Emby answers all prayers but, sometimes, the answer in "no."

BTW: I am fairly familiar with most of the file naming standards and I had to look up the DSF file extension as I had never heard of it before.
