New NAS and new Emby install

Hello,

Getting a new Terramaster NAS after 6 years with the old one and hoping i can facilitate setting up Emby server on the new NAS.

Questions:

1) can i do anything relative to backups (content, settings etc)  that would save time in setting up the new NAS?

2) Would a clean install be best? Currently on beta version and would like to move to stable...

3) Any other advice would be appreciated...i don't mind starting fresh if it makes more sense...

NAS Content - 200+ movies, home photos and videos, music library

Since you want to go from beta to stable, I would start over.

Because of DB changes.

Hi I changed my terramaster myself , but for the last two days I haven't been able to access it remotely via the emby app. Are you experiencing this issue ? thank you

hello... I was able to make a smooth transition from old Nas to new Nas...in terms of remote access....work in progress for me as my fibre provider in France (SFR) uses ipv6 versus ipv4 so I've not been able to remote connect for a over a year... need to look into Port Forwarding for ipv6... haven't had time..
