hoopsoft 2 Posted November 27, 2025 Posted November 27, 2025 I know this has been covered some, but I am curious on the latest Movies and latest TV why they don't act the same. If I edit metadata on a movie and change the date added the movie will dissappear back away from the top, which I really like, because its pretty common for me to get a better version of a movie I already had, but don't want it at the top. I am converting my older tv shows now to better quality and when I edit the metadata for the series, it will still stay at the top on latest tv on the home page and in the tv show folder, no matter if I have date added or scanned date selected. Can this be made to work like the movies, when you edit metadata so it will go down the list?
GrimReaper 4739 Posted November 27, 2025 Posted November 27, 2025 Latest TV shows row is sorted by Last Episode Date Added, not by Date Added of the show itself. You need to edit metadata/date added of the episodes within and ensure that no episode has Date Added after the date you want.
hoopsoft 2 Posted November 27, 2025 Author Posted November 27, 2025 (edited) I've updated a lot lately, gonna have to script this out somehow, unless there is a way to mass edit with emby? Thanks for the reply! Edited November 27, 2025 by hoopsoft

Luke 42077 Posted November 28, 2025 Posted November 28, 2025 Hi, bulk edit features are planned for future updates. Thanks.
hoopsoft 2 Posted November 28, 2025 Author Posted November 28, 2025 Thanks for the update, bulky did ok, it seemed to missed an ep hear and there, I was thinking about timelord, but I want some control over it, if I could have told it which shows I might have tried it. 1
