Przemek 70 Posted November 27, 2025 Posted November 27, 2025 Hello, my Emby keep getting crash last days on unRAID. I cannot figure out is that hardware issue (I have also unRAID crash few days ago) or Emby container. Now it shows started in unRAID dashboard but it don't work. I attach docker logs. emby.log
sa2000 674 Posted November 27, 2025 Posted November 27, 2025 Is the docker log always ending with a partial log line - logging tailscale unicastaddresses for ipv4 and ipv6 - seems to have stopped part way in logging the ipv6 addresss - the log line is not complete Info NetworkManager: UnicastAddresses: 100.77.157.79,fd7a:115c:a Other examples of logged ipv4 and ipv6 unicastaddresses Info NetworkManager: UnicastAddresses: 192.168.0.208,fd39:e270:4c27:2feb:ca7f:54ff:fe6c:ddce,fe80::ca7f:54ff:fe6c:ddce%5 Info NetworkManager: UnicastAddresses: 172.19.0.1,fe80::42:d8ff:fe4a:8d62%8 Info NetworkManager: UnicastAddresses: 172.18.0.1,fe80::42:29ff:fefc:b857%9 Info NetworkManager: UnicastAddresses: 172.17.0.1,fe80::42:2fff:fe85:4529%10 Info NetworkManager: UnicastAddresses: 127.0.0.1,::1 wondering if it is network configuration related. Or this could be completely unrelated ! you could see if the emby server with debug logging enabled would have some more clues at time of crash you could edit the emby server config/system.xml file to set this to true and then launch emby server and see if the embyserver.txt log has some extra info to supplement what you see in the docker log <EnableDebugLevelLogging>true</EnableDebugLevelLogging>
Przemek 70 Posted November 27, 2025 Author Posted November 27, 2025 Hi, I cannot, stop or remove EmbyServer. When I uncheck autostart and then stop/start docker it also starts.
sa2000 674 Posted November 27, 2025 Posted November 27, 2025 Sorry I have very little experience in docker. Will have to wait for others to step in
Przemek 70 Posted November 27, 2025 Author Posted November 27, 2025 I add linuxserver image and it start after reboot. Regards

Run Docker containers | Unraid Docs Hi, I write on the first post I cannot stop container. @LukeIt help me to change to linuxserver container but first I have to: ``` /etc/rc.d/rc.docker stop docker rm -f EmbyServer 2>/dev/null || true rm -f /var/lib/docker/containers/a771b6cf27d0e27ecac2dd2a231d0e2a67ab2bf6686bda30987e30e8175b4d1a/* 2>/dev/null || true /etc/rc.d/rc.docker start ``` then I reinstall from previous apps with `lscr.io/linuxserver/emby` repo tag. Work fine so far. I read that was because I have tailscale or wireguard on unriad. In my case I have both Regards.
Neminem 1518 Posted November 28, 2025 Posted November 28, 2025 If you can't stop a docker then there is something wrong with your unRaid server. Or you have a custom script that auto starts it.
