gswhite 0 Posted November 26, 2025 Posted November 26, 2025 I am experiencing an issue with all content on my AppleTV when I try to go into movies or tv series. I just get a spinning wheel and eventually an error! Issue: While clicking into the Movies or TV episodes, I get a spinning wheel. Eventually received an error "There was an error processing th...Invalid arguments" Reinstalling the app does not resolve the issue. Emby clients on WebBrowser, iOS Phone. iPad iOS, Mac OS, All Web Browsers, Android Tablet, Android Nvidia Shield ALL WORK. Environment: Apple TV model: 4K tvOS version: 26.2 Emby Apple TV app version: 2.0.2 Emby Server version: 4.9.2.6 Beta Steps to reproduce: Open the Movies or TV library or Emby Home Screen on Apple TV. Scroll through to any movie to tv show Does not load REINSTALLATION OF THE APP MAKES NO DIFFERENCE. I have literally just set up a server to replace Plex, but as my ATV is my primary streaming box, and Emby is not working, I'll be going back. Any Help would be greatly appreciated. I would really like to solve this

If that is the case then it sounds like it is something unique to your server setup. If your server is configured for remote access it might be easiest if you can make a test account for me (PM the details to me) and I can try connecting remotely to debug it and see what is causing it to crash/hang. Otherwise, I'm not quite sure how to diagnose this. Can you please also send me a server log with debug enabled at a time when you have this error? Thanks
gswhite 0 Posted November 27, 2025 Author Posted November 27, 2025 Sure, I can enable Debug and see if I can capture any errors or issues. What I am struggling with is every other method for accessing and streaming content works perfectly, iOS, Android, Android streaming sticks, FireTV all WORK! All the issues are on AppleTV on either 26.1 or 26.2 and the problems are consistent, with the same errors. That seems more like an Emby Client issue to me. There is nothing wrong with the server setup, as every other method of accessing the service works. Just not with ATV.
SamES 1056 Posted November 27, 2025 Posted November 27, 2025 The ATV is a completely different code base to the other apps, so it possible that there is a server configuration that hasn't been accounted for in this app. That's why I think it will need to be debugged remotely to resolve this
Chrisrp 0 Posted December 10, 2025 Posted December 10, 2025 Any luck with this one as I’m also getting the same fault. It’s only started since I put love to also on the server but works with every other platform??
Luke 42077 Posted December 10, 2025 Posted December 10, 2025 @gswhite Hi there, please attach the Emby server log from when the problem occurred: How to Report a Problem Thanks!
