burna 0 Posted November 23, 2025 Posted November 23, 2025 First question: Is it normal that I have these duplicate entries on my hard drives? Screenshot is attached Second question: Today I tried to mount a new hard drive but emby cannot find the new hard drive, and when I try to add it manually, it doesn't work either. The path in casaOS is "/mnt/MEDIA4" Basically, I did everything the same as with the other hard drives, which are recognized. Sharing in casaOS is also enabled because I connected the hard drive to Windows and copied a file, like the others shared drives. So what is the problem here? I also tried in different ways like /mnt/MEDIA4, /mnt/MEDIA4/MEDIA4 I´m using CasaOS under Debian12

For now I would just manually remove the duplicates.

I can't answer why because that is specific to your environment. But it sounds like you're not even sure what the actual full path should be? What is it mounted as? Permissions could also prevent the server from being able to reach it. Have you taken a look at this?

I found the solution to my second question, which I had forgotten about because it had been so long since I first saved the other paths. In casaOS, I also have to save the paths in the container in the Emby app, or do so first, so that I can then create them in the library in Emby.
Luke 42077 Posted November 24, 2025 Posted November 24, 2025 Quote Which one should I delete, or does it not matter? It shouldn't matter but I guess I would do the ones listed later. 1
