Typical causes of this are firewall, security software, VPN or misconfigured DNS.

First, i'm a chinese, sorry about my poor english

i changed a openwrt router like one week ago, and i just update my D1621+ to dsm 7.31, after that i found out emby server was not quite working well,

and i really dunno what the embyserver.txt means, but now i found out maybe themoviedb api  connection is always timeout, but a really checked all those settings and found nothing,

the omdb is working , but themoviedb and douban is not working, that's wired. 

I've try reinstall embyserver and themoviedb and douban, but still not working , so plz help!

i'm not quite sure，but it's still working last week，and I just set that themoviedb.org to proxy , and i can get to youtube and github very well

but moviedb and douban still not working, only omdb is work

Are you using something like adblocker?

Pihole, adblocker or anything else that would block DNS queries?

What is you routers DNS settings?

It might be ISP DNS blockage.

If it's set by your ISP.

If you can try changing them.

if that is the isp issues, i can do nothing about it, china , u know....

but i really dont think that's the isp problem, i also asked my friend who's using dsm and embyserver, and it's working absolutely well

Hmm, I guess your router is locked down, and you can't change DNS servers.

A VPN provider might help you but also break it more.

If that even allowed by law in China.

My connection from Europe works with themoviedb, not sure what douban is.

same isp, chinanet...and douban is the chinese version of tmdb, a plugin of embyserver, like tmdb
