Emby server for windows

New to Emby, just installed the free version to see if I can get on with it.  I thought that the client apps were a premiere benefit, but i download it for my TV and it connects just fine.

I have read the differences between premiere and free, but I am no longer sure what you do actually get buy being a premiere user.  The settings page even suggests I can get HW encoding ?

Can someone tell me the benefit of Emby over Jellyfin ?

(Edit:) All client apps will connect. Browsing is free on all. Playback capabilities depends on the platform.

Hey thanks for that, that explains quite a bit, 

Could you tell me what Emby Windows is - is that a playback client app for windows? and without a key it limits playback to 1min, but if they connect via browser then there is no limit ?

And if I read it correctly once I put a key code in my server, then all connecting hosts get the benefit of Premiere whilst using my server ?

Three's a charm. You're still under devices limit as per your Premiere subscription license (standard license carries a 30 devices limit). 

Is there a limit to Emby Premiere?
