Samsung Sound Bar

Hey guys, does anyone use this samsung soundbar? It says it does dolby digital master & true HD but I see some conflicting reviews & dont want to run to buy if its a headache. Thanks.

I don;t have one, but I can't see in the specs where it says TrueHD.  I doubt you will get TreHD from it

@SamESi googled the specs & it says it does but AI said something differnet about it. I want to get a samsung tv for downstairs & also this seemd pretty cool for $278.

I have experience with the HW-Q990 series and it is excellent for a sound bar. It is a step up from this but the sound bar itself is probably similar.

I don't see TrueHD anywhere in that image and it says 5.1 Atmos - that is undoubtedly DD+.  Most TrueHD tracks are 7.1.

Its from Sams club & not to many reviews. I wanted to get it for my downstairs but if it cant do those formats im not gonna buy it. @SamES @Luke @ebr

Keep in mind that Dolby ATMOS and TrueHD are different technologies (lossy vs lossless). So while it supports one, it may not support the other.

In the future you gotta stop asking AI questions about products that can easily be looked up. AI is useless for these things as it can easily be poisoned. Also the more you rely on AI, the more your brain shrinks, it's a known side effect. Hell I've had arguments with people who use AI for math, and when it gets it wrong, which is often, they don't even know that it's wrong and have no idea how to do the simple math that AI borked. Imagine being so used to having AI do your work for you, that you don't understand that 1+1 is not 3, or being so relying on AI so much you can't even do simple division like dividing up a cheque at dinner. And yes we are already at that point as people Bixby or Gemini constantly for math. Can't use Siri as Siri sucks haha.
