How do I configure Embuary?

I've got Emby for Kodi Next Gen up and running and the skin installed, but my content isn't showing up in the main menu, nor are the "Continue Watching" options, etc. If I reload the skin, the "Continue Watching" option appears and a few other things, but it disappears almost immediately. I'm a complete beginner with this stuff, so I'm hoping someone can help me.

Please upload a screenshot, to see what's currently state of your synced content? Default settings hould already show movies, tvshows etc.

No synchronized content appears directly on the main screen; to view it, I have to manually navigate to the server folder. However, in EmbyCon, the synchronized content does appear.

If I try to sync, it'll definitely take weeks. At EmbyCon, I didn't have to sync anything. I'm not the server; I'm just a guest, so to speak.

Okay, I understand how it works now. I've managed to set it up to my liking, except for one exception. In the official Emby app, whether it's for Smart TV, Android, etc., the "Continue Watching" feature groups everything into a single category, regardless of whether it's FHD series, 4K series, HD TV programs, etc. It's all in the same category, and I don't know how to do that here. Everything is separated by categories (4K series, HD series, etc.), and I have to create the paths and widget separately. Isn't there a way to create a widget that brings together all the categories? With all the paths included, of course...

The emby for kodi next gen (video addon) has a node "continue watching (mixed content)" if it's that what you want. You must embed this node manually into your skin.
