Recently released episodes on home screen?

Hey there,

Is there a way to add additional views to the home screen other than what's listed here?

I'm looking to add Recently Released Episodes to everyone's home screen like Plex had, as a bunch of my users miss that view.
It has recently released movies as an option, but not episodes, yet the suggestions tab under TV shows does have this view, so clearly its supported by Emby.

Any ideas?

If you want to control every ones homescreen then you must go to each individual user and set their settings.

Users -> Edit this user's profile, image and personal preferences -> Home screen
For latest added media you then add "Latest Media", this will show the latest videos to have been added to the server.

Right, so I've done that, and latest media works, it's on my users' home screens as well. Latest media isn't recently released media though. The "Recently Released Movies" option is perfect, and shows movies in release date order. "Latest TV Shows" and "Latest Movies" also seems to work fine, but fulfills a different requirement, showing the most recent media added to the server.

What I want in addition to these is a "Recently Released Episodes" option, exactly like what is under TV Shows > Suggestions, which shows a release date ordered list of episodes, completely ignoring server-import time.

Here are a couple screenshots.

Note that in Plex, I can choose both recently added, and recently released.

In Emby, I can choose Latest Media, which seems to be the same as recently added, but I cannot add Recently released for TV/episodes.

Recently Released TV row on Home Screen is not yet supported, though Home Screen revamp is in the pipeline so it might also include that in some future update.
