mswguitar 1 Posted November 18, 2025 Posted November 18, 2025 I am having two issues that appear to have started on/around November 13th. First, my collections are disappearing. I normally have 100 collections but now I'm only seeing 12. I first noticed this around Nov 13th but didn't have time to mess with it until last night. I restored a backup from Nov 13th and the collections were back, but some (~10) were missing artwork. I was able to use the image search button to fairly quickly get them re-populated. This was around 6pm last night. Then a couple hours later, I checked my collections and all but 12 had been deleted again. Also around the same that I noticed this, I saw that many of my items were missing their art work I had initially posted in this thread: But I started a new thread as to not hijack that one, and it now seems like a different issue. embyserver-63899020800.txt
Luke 42077 Posted November 18, 2025 Posted November 18, 2025 HI, is something wrong with your I Drive? has it gone offline? 2025-11-17 16:39:50.024 Info ImageService-0HNH67BTGUBT5:00000003: http/1.1 Response 404 to host1. mswguitar 1 Posted November 18, 2025 Author Posted November 18, 2025 No, the I drive is fine (if it wasn't, I would lose my all of my videos). The path I:\MediaBrowser\metadata\library\00\00e6b1ff67d0cfb65ba8825631fe1b94 doesn't exist. I have incremental backup to an external hard drive and I just checked my snapshots there that path has not existed (at least to the extent of the backup history, which goes back 3 months).
Luke 42077 Posted November 19, 2025 Posted November 19, 2025 Did you tamper with the server metadata folder at any time?
mswguitar 1 Posted November 19, 2025 Author Posted November 19, 2025 No, the only thing I had changed was I added a few new movies to I:\Movies on 11/11/2025, and one new movie on 11/13/2025. Then I went into the Emby web app and went though and updated some collections (adding new movies to the collection). Everything in EMby had been working perfectly fine up until that night when the collections disappeared, along with the other artwork.
mswguitar 1 Posted November 21, 2025 Author Posted November 21, 2025 @LukeI've had this Emby setup for quite some time (back when it was "MediaBrowser"). Do you think I should just blow everything away and start from scratch?
Luke 42077 Posted January 14 Posted January 14 @mswguitarthe issue of missing artwork should be resolved in Emby Server 4.9.3. Thanks.
