Bug: theme.mp3 won't play for TV series

It used to work fine.  Now I just noticed that none of them are playing, even the ones that worked previously.

I do not see options on my windows server (4.9.1.90) or in the app on my shield (2.1.23g).  Where are those settings?  Maybe it got switched off somehow.

Not sure if its related or not.  Log attached.

I also uninstalled the webhooks plugin (it said it had nothing to configure when I clicked on it?) and theme still does not play.

Looks like the AndroidTV app issue.  Options are in App Settings-General Display.  Looks like they are enabled but greyed out.  Not sure if the TV app has ever work though so someone else would have to comment.

Thanks, it has worked in the past on my shield.

Oh yeah, I see it greyed out on my app options, (App Settings-General Display) as well. Checked but greyed out.

Tbh, I don't remember the app not playing themes ever, nor seeing any reports on forums about it (doesn't mean there aren't any, just that I haven't glimpsed them), one would imagine it'd be a more widespread issue if it were. But 2.1.23 is fairly dated release (Dec `24), you might try some more recent one and see how does it compare. 

For reference, I'm on 2.1.27, themes playing on both my stable instances, 4.8.11.0 and 4.9.1.90, so it might be something related to your particular setup/device.

Are you referring to Theme sounds or Theme music (latter is halfway/three-quarters scrolled down). 

Edit: @BillOatmandoes standard Android app on your Shield play them, if installed?

Just had the current release installed on tablet for testing.

Sorry, yah the greyed out one was Sound not Songs.  So yes, you have to scroll down further, and my issue was twofold as it was disabled, and the next option theme volume was only 30% so I never heard the themes on my tablet I was testing on.

@BillOatmanPlease verify both those options on 2.1.23g.

It was disabled somehow for me as well.  Reenabled and it is working fine on my shield.  Thanks all.

Also, that option being in "General Display" might not be the best place.  Maybe something under audio instead, since this is strictly audio related, I believe.
