unisoft 352 Posted November 17, 2025 Posted November 17, 2025 Not sure which version did this .80 or .90, but I go into Music > GENRES and Artists view is now listing COMPOSERS as an Artist???? Worked fine for years before these updates, just showing artists. My embedded data has composers in the composer field, not Artist or Album Artist field like it always has had. Also, Music library used to show associated music videos, where the ALBUM ARTIST meta data field was populated as an id3v2 tag. It no longer does this. All this used to work before one of these updates and no changes to my embedded metadata or folder structure.
Luke 42077 Posted November 17, 2025 Posted November 17, 2025 HI there, can you please provide a specific example? How to Report a Problem Thanks !

There are no errors in the logs though? And its been working correctly for years. A simple test. Make sure a folder of music (m4a) has the embedded ID3v2 composer field set with names and other fields like ARTIST are. Go into Music library on 4.1.9.0, web app, then go into GENRES, click an artist and you will see composer names suddenly listed as an artist.

The other equally important part is demonstration of a specific example. Thanks.
