Unsure why some albums aren't showing correctly

I've gone through the MP3 tags and nothing looks out of place compared to the other albums. There are about 2 or 3 that just won't combine into a normal entry. The view is "Album" if that helps. I have also tried changing the Album/Artist tag to see if that helps.

Any suggestions?

Hi, it’s due to your album Artist tag being blank.

I tried  that after i posted with the same information as the Album, just changed it to say just John Peel but still only shows the individual tracks as albums in album view.

I changed the tags for album artist to John Peel. Rescanned the audio folder through emby, refreshed browser.

Go to Library, click the 3 dots on the music library and scan library files.

So how does it look now in your tagging software?

Morning, this is how it now looks in Mp3tag. The other screenshot for FabricLive 93:Daphni is showing correctly as one album in Emby. I've looked through others that are not showing correctly and i can't see any common factor between ones that show correctly and ones that don't.

The third one for Flava D does not show correctly either.

Hi , with your 3rd screenshot, this will not import/show in Emby as the one Album Fabriclive88: FlavaD because your AlbumArtist is different for the different tracks. You have AlbumArtist the same as Artist, which will likely split this Album into several different Albums. Perhaps try making AlbumArtist "Various Artists" or anything else that suits, for all tracks. This is stated in Emby's official documentation here:

Tagging your albums and tracks should be straightforward with the possible exception of various artist or compilation albums.

For these types of compilation albums if you want all tracks to show up as a single entity you want to make sure both the "album" and "album artist" fields are the same for all tracks. Otherwise the album will be split up for the various artists listed.

Beyond this, it may also be worth checking Extended Tags in Mp3tag to see if any other embedded tags may be causing problems (e.g. you may have both "AlbumArtist" and "Album Artist" tags that are inconsistent and causing problems).

Also, once you have sorted out AlbumArtist correctly, try scanning from both the Folder tab, parent album folder and Album tab, parent album to ensure the changes are imported.
