Trailers Plugin: Couchpotato integration

I've recently started using couchpotato and it would seem the best friend in the world for it would be the trailers plugin so that as soon as you've watched the trailer you could send the movie name to couchpotato

Maybe not automatically but I agree that a "add to CouchPotato" would be great.

Yeah, not automatically, but to have an easily selectable 'send to couchpotato' button and maybe have a config that can be set for what you would like to be your default quality so the send to couchpotato becomes a single click action

I've always liked this idea however it may (if indirectly) support piracy.

 

May seem a but silly but this is the view when it was mentioned in the past.

This would be a wonderful extension of this plugin. The "more like this" function works great but it is a bit confusing as it shows a "play / add to favorites / etc.." as if you had the media in your library, even though it is just recommending a related trailer. It would be great to have an additional option to send to couchpotato, trakt, imdb or somewhere that a list could be made.

This doesn't belong in the Trailers plugin, but rather as a separate plugin subscribes to events of watched content and then acts on those events.

 

In fact it doesn't even have to be a plugin. You could write a standalone app and integrate with the emby webhooks feature.
