BillybobBilly 18 Posted November 13, 2025 Posted November 13, 2025 Do any of you guys use Tiny Media Manager? I've been using it for a few years and recently I've noticed some of the ID-matches that were previously correct are no longer correct (specifically with TVDB). I'm not sure if they changed their system or what, but I've noticed a few shows were not scraping artwork properly in Emby, and upon inspection it was because the show's TVDB link was dead. Manually fixing the ID corrected that problem... but I'm wondering if there is a way to scrape all of the shows using Tiny Media Manager, just updating ID info. Glancing at the software I do not see an option to scrape only this field, and when disabling fields I'm not entirely sure which ones include the ID info.
Happy2Play 9780 Posted November 14, 2025 Posted November 14, 2025 (edited) Would need some specific examples but yes TVDB and even TMDB have changed media id when they get removed from their database and readded. So this is really not anything specific to TMM. As I have seen it with Emby and MediaCenterMaster metadata as it is a Providerid change that we just have to live with. No, you can't scrape IDs only, they are grabbed at the time of initial import and the only way to update them/reflect changes for the existing items is either to do it manually in item details (as you've already surmised) or to reimport/rescrape (Search & Scrape either manually or forcing best match ), same as done on initial ingestion. Luke 42077 Posted November 15, 2025 Posted November 15, 2025 Hopefully this is rare enough that manual cleanup isn’t such a big deal.
