No icons stay even on manual log in

I’ve got a friend with a fire stick. And on the fire TV/android TV app he’s gone in logged in manually and then changed it to auto login as this user in the startup. Now, every time that he comes back into the app, it doesn’t have icons again. This is what I was told to do to keep the icons. But it doesn’t seem to work.

Any ideas?

Try adding the server IP under Network -> Local IP Address

And/Or try to reboot the server.

I don’t see anything in the server that says network and then IP address. The only thing I see is either home or remote. Which the Home isn’t going to work because they are not at the same location the server is. I’m thinking it has something to do with his Internet. It works for me. I’m doing it just the way that I was told to do it and I’ve never had to log back in even if I unplugged the box.

The pictures. The dvd covers, the my media icons ext. SO just for reference I posted these here below. What I mean is each time he exists emby it comes up with just an outline and the words but no actual pictures to anything. If we log him out or clear data then do a manual log in and then they will show that ONE TIME.

So you mean, I have to have him let me know when he opens his Emby and doesn’t see the pictures so that I can write a log file right at that point?
