Jeepster 3 Posted November 12, 2025 Posted November 12, 2025 I recently installed an Amazon firestick to my tv and installed my Emby server. When I tried to play movie I received a message: Premiere Device limit exceeded. I do not have a Premiere subscription. I only use the server. How can I fix this issue? 1
GrimReaper 4739 Posted November 12, 2025 Posted November 12, 2025 (edited) How many other TV devices you have accessing your server? With no Premiere subscription, you get Full playback on 5 devices for free, above that - Premiere subscription is required. Emby Premiere Feature Matrix Edit: Scratch that, upon re-reading your post: where did you install your server? Edited November 12, 2025 by GrimReaper Clarification

Luke 42077 Posted November 12, 2025 Posted November 12, 2025 What app version number do you have on the fire TV?

Jeepster 3 Posted November 13, 2025 Author Posted November 13, 2025 I had to remove one of the devices. Five devices are allowed and I had 6. I thought I had 5. 1 1
ebr 16169 Posted November 14, 2025 Posted November 14, 2025 Hi. So the message was actually that the free device limit had been reached, not the Premiere one, correct?
