khohada 4 Posted November 12, 2025 Posted November 12, 2025 I am currently using emby 4.9.1.90. I found that the transcode initialization runs a bit slow, after reading the log, I can see the server keeps running into error when trying to initialize the Hardware Transcode. Logs files are attached, please kindly help me. (there are 2 log files.) Thank you. embyserver.txt log_transcode_failed.txt
khohada 4 Posted November 12, 2025 Author Posted November 12, 2025 BTW. I am hitting this problem since the last stable release of version 4.8, so maybe it is the problem of my PC or operating system? (intel i5-13400 + RTX5060 + Win 11 24H2)
Neminem 1518 Posted November 13, 2025 Posted November 13, 2025 (edited) Are there any ffmpeg transcoding logs from that failed attempt? Edited November 13, 2025 by Neminem
Lessaj 467 Posted November 13, 2025 Posted November 13, 2025 Provide the hardware detection log, it's taking several minutes to perform that which normally completes in a second or less.
Luke 42077 Posted November 13, 2025 Posted November 13, 2025 Hi, have you tried rebooting your machine?
