Podcasts Missing

I am having the same problem, I think for me they disappeared when I upgraded to 4.9. Permissions seem correct, I can access the podcasts, but new episodes don't show in Latest Media.

And have you checked your emby user home screen settings to see which libraries are enabled for latest media?

Under users - access, I have enabled all for channel access (disabling it and enabling just podcasts made no difference). I also have granted access to all libraries.

Under preferences - home screen I've enabled both display in home screen and display in secondary home screen sections.

It worked fine on 4.8 (I upgraded to 4.9 beta and later to 4.9 stable) and didn't change any permissions since, it worked as expected before.

Have you checked the date added value of the new episodes?

Yes, they are correct. If I refresh internet channels and new episodes appear, they don't show up in the latest section.

A new episode releases yesterday had the correct created date

This is an example. New episode 13th November but did not appear in latest.

Maybe you configured latest to hide played media?

I have indeed, but that episode did not show up before playing it.

Try marking one of those as unplayed and see if that helps.

I tried but no change. The latest podcasts section never appears in the home page.

This is what my latest media section shows, despite having multiple episodes marked as non played (I've just attached a sample but I have many more).

Further to this, I've just setup the new WebStreams plugin and those items don't appear either.

This seems solved in the latest beta (4.9.2.7). Thanks for your help!
