Alexa Not Playing

Hi, since you're asking, might as well enable it temporarily. Thanks.

HI, did you make sure to use an SSL certificate that Alexa trusts?

I use an reverse proxy on a syology nas

And the reverse proxy is using a Synology DDNS Certificate.

Do you know if Alexa trusts that? That is what it comes down to (or not).

I checked the synology details and it is a Let’s Encrypt Certificate.

Does it work if you say the command on the Alexa app on your phone?

No, that doesn’t work.

Your server is responding to Alexa with "Access token is invalid or expired." Could you please try re-linking the skill by disabling the skill in the app then enabling it again.

I tried this several times without success.

I re-linked the skill again. Same problem.

Your wan domain name change fixed the "Access token is invalid or expired." issue. But now Alexa is responding  "Device playback error".

Could you try the Alexa app on your phone again?

If that doesn't work you most likely need to use a domain name you own

The app only works on the cellular network?

There is most likely something wrong with your routers NAT Loopback (Hairpinning)

Yes, this is right.
I have a FRITZ!Box. How can I check this?

Yes, FRITZ!Box routers generally support NAT loopback (also called hairpinning), as it's a standard feature, but it might need configuration or adjustments due to DNS settings like DNS Rebind Protection, or if older firmware lacked it, though it often works out-of-the-box or with minor tweaks for services like Emby or home servers.
