norm04468 15 Posted November 10, 2025 Posted November 10, 2025 HI I was wondering if it would be possible to get an all tab at the top of a mixed content library. Currently there is buttons at top of library - shows - movies -genres - tags - folders. This is my issue I have a library folder that is called Documentaries, which consist of single episode shows and multi episode shows & because of scraping rules the single episodes are scraped as movies and Muli-episode shows are scraped as tv shows. When I am browsing my Documentaries library I have to toggle between the shows and movies tab. It would be nice to be able to see all of them without changing tabs. In the past if you selected shows it showed them all, not sure when it changed but I happened to notice it this past weekend. Thanks
Luke 42077 Posted November 11, 2025 Posted November 11, 2025 Hi there, how are your files named and organized?
norm04468 15 Posted November 11, 2025 Author Posted November 11, 2025 Not sure what you are asking, it's basically movie name (year). Tvshowname (year).s01e01. And each show is in its own folder with the scraped data. I have multiple directories that are in the mixed library. Ex. Single episode documentaries 1 and 3. Multi episode documentaries 1, 2, &3. Each directory contains folders of individual shows.
Luke 42077 Posted November 11, 2025 Posted November 11, 2025 Quote because of scraping rules the single episodes are scraped as movies HI there, can you please provide a specific example? How to Report a Problem Thanks !
Luke 42077 Posted November 11, 2025 Posted November 11, 2025 What are the folders that are added to the tvshows and movies libraries?
Luke 42077 Posted November 11, 2025 Posted November 11, 2025 OK the problem with the 8 days show is that it is not named by following tv show naming conventions: TV Naming
norm04468 15 Posted November 11, 2025 Author Posted November 11, 2025 Thats because its a single episode show so it has to scrape as a movie.
norm04468 15 Posted November 11, 2025 Author Posted November 11, 2025 Since its a mixed directory I was thinking you could put a tab that says all. That way it would show both tv shows and movies together. If you look at the previous pics of the library you can see them individually by toggling between shows and movies. 1
pwhodges 2012 Posted November 11, 2025 Posted November 11, 2025 "Folders" shows everything together. Paul
norm04468 15 Posted November 11, 2025 Author Posted November 11, 2025 Yes it does but for some reason some of the posters don't load, I am guessing because it's in the folder mode.

norm04468 15 Posted November 11, 2025 Author Posted November 11, 2025 I guess you would have to ask the scraper database people. single episode tv shows don't scrape if they have a tv naming format. they scrape as movies.
norm04468 15 Posted November 12, 2025 Author Posted November 12, 2025 first pic is movie tab second is folder tab

I've seen multiple wrongly identified shows/movies/seasons on TMDB and you can always request it to be changed. Additionally, "8 Days to the Moon and Back" is also identified as a movie on IMDB, BBC and PBS. In contrast, "13 Factors That Saved Apollo 13" is also identified as a TV-show by Netflix and IMDB among others. I had similar questions with the "The Haunting of" series, but those are all considered separate movies as well and not a tv shows. Edited November 12, 2025 by brothom
norm04468 15 Posted November 12, 2025 Author Posted November 12, 2025 I have an account and have requested them to fix that, in short their answer was if it's a single episode it's considered a movie. More than one episode it's considered a TV show. I understand their point there is over a million tv shows that are considered movies that would have to be changed in all the databases, tmdb, tvdb, imdb ect. It's not gonna happen. Besides isn't that the point of having a mixed library.

norm04468 15 Posted November 13, 2025 Author Posted November 13, 2025 So can we get a all button for mixed library.
