Bru5ki 1 Posted November 9, 2025 Posted November 9, 2025 I keep thinking: "I have subtitle files in that folder. Why aren't they showing?" Most of my movie folders have subtitle files in, or have sub folders with subtitle files in, but Emby is not seeing them. Is there a way to make Emby recognise those subtitle files? I'm new to Emby. And I'm still so used to VLC where you can easily add subtitle files. Does it not have the option to browse the folder for the sub files you want similar to VLC? Does it only recognise a subtitle file if it has exactly the same name? Can it be in a sub folder or does it have to be in the same folder? Thanks
visproduction 315 Posted November 9, 2025 Posted November 9, 2025 Probably the file names are incorrect. https://emby.media/support/articles/Subtitles.html?q=subtitles
Bru5ki 1 Posted November 9, 2025 Author Posted November 9, 2025 Thank you for your reply. I saw that page. I can't go through all my folders and rename all my sub files. I was hoping there might be another way.
