Live TV Recording - Keep # of Episodes File Cleanup/Deletion

Live TV recoding/DVR functionality works great. After my recordings are completed, I am transcoding to mkv files and running comskip which creates .edl and .ffmeta files. The problem I'm having, is I have my series recording to keep 5 episodes, when the 6 episode is being recorded all files except the .ffmeta file are being deleted (as they should be). My question is, how do I add .ffmeta to the list of files that get deleted when expired episodes get deleted from the disk?

.ffmeta files

What is the purpose of the .ffmeta file? Comskiper does not use it. (Edit your comskip.ini to prevent their creation)

It's created by comchap. It generates chapter markers for the video file.

So you're running comchap then comcut, I presume?

If so, why are you keeping the .edl and .ffmeta files? (seeĀ https://github.com/BrettSheleski/comchap for command line options)

Alternatively, you could just use comskip to create the .edl, but it won't add chapters where the commercials breaks were, though it is faster.

Then use the plugin

If comskip is wrong, you can still rewind to see what was missed (unlike comcut).

Hi, we'll have to add that to the list of delete extensions.
