interman 18 Posted November 6, 2025 Posted November 6, 2025 About two days ago out of nowhere, I went on to the server and clicked Live TV and it's coming up and saying "Emby Live TV & DVR require an active Emby Premiere subscription." I have Emby premier. It only happens on the server. The remote apps are fine. I reentered my key, but no change. Was there any update that changed something? I rebooted Emby and the Windows server is sits on.

I do have a Premier license and I have been using Live TV for a long time. Every once in a while I go in to check to see if there's new TV listings that I can map or new TV channels that I can add. About two days ago, I went to the live TV page on the server. When I went there it came up with that warning that said you have to have Envy Premier. OK I figured it was some kind of glitch so I then looked on all of my TV's and it didn't show My android phone and it didn't show and my other windows computer that's a client and it didn't show. . I let it go because I didn't really need to access it on the server but today I decided to take a few minutes and diagnose the problem So even though I have Emby premier, and it was working more than two days ago, the server is now saying that I need . Emby premier for some reason. Just for fun, I looked and I purchased emby premier on Sun 3/19/2017 12:36 PM. More useless knowledge. Now, I will say that I am probably overdue for a rebuild on the server, but thought it was funny that it just started. I looked on the community, and I found post similar, but was about folder permissions, not live TV. Luke, I know you deal with 1000 requests and probably don't Remember Me but I've always been there to help. If I could solve it myself I would but this one just baffles me where it started from. Again it's not a critical problem because none of my client machines come up with this error just the server. And it just happened about two or three days ago. Let me know how I can help and it's not a high priority issue.
ebr 16169 Posted November 7, 2025 Posted November 7, 2025 Hi. Something in your browser (Ad blocker, Privacy Badger, etc.) is likely blocking the validation. If you open the console, are there errors?
Solution interman 18 Posted November 7, 2025 Author Solution Posted November 7, 2025 I feel so stupid. I did not try a different browser on the same machine. I moved to Edge and it works fine. Not sure what is blocking just chrome just on that computer. That fixed it (well it is not asking for the Premier key anymore). Now I need to find what is blocking the request. Thanks to all. 1
