Downloaded Files not showing thumbnails or skip intro option

Hello I am on the latest Emby server version: 4.9.1.80 and have Emby apps installed on my iPhone 17 Pro Max and M5 iPad Pro both running the latest versions of the app (version 2.2.44).

I noticed recently that when i play downloaded content versions of my TV episodes I no longer get the 'SKIP INTRO' option or the ability to see video thumbnails when i scrub through the video timeline.

Both of these features work fine when I play the file from the server so it seems to be that the downloaded files are not including the correct information for me to skip intro and have thumbnails. 

This used to work fine in the past when playing downloaded files so hopefully this is a simple fix? Any thoughts that could help to solve this issue would be massively appreciated!

Hi again Luke, do you know any rough timings for the issue i outlined in this thread? Will these features be added back in for a future server update? It would be great to get a sense of how long this will take as I am really missing the option to skip intro and see video thumbnails on downloaded items. Thanks!

Hi, no eta but we have made changes to both the apps and server related to this so it is a matter of all those updates getting released.

Hi Luke just checking if there is a rough ETA on this or do you know what app version an server version these fixes will be included in? Currently on app version: 2.2.46 and server version: 4.9.1.90 and still no skip intro or thumbnails in downloaded files. Any insight would be great as i massively miss these features! Thanks

Hi again Luke. It has been a month since I last checked on this one. Just curious if the fixes are on the roadmap still and if you have an ETA you can share? I updated to 4.9.3 but still dont get skip intro on downloaded files or thumbnails. Any update you can share would be great. Thanks!
