MiCo1972 6 Posted November 5, 2025 Posted November 5, 2025 I am unable to control the Emby app for Windows via iPad or web browser. Although I can see which film is currently playing, I cannot pause it or start a new one, for example. It works on the same computer with Emby Theatre. kindly regards Michael

MiCo1972 6 Posted November 5, 2025 Author Posted November 5, 2025 I restarted the server once so that the log wouldn't be too long. Then I tried to start a film on the Windows computer running the Emby app via the server's web interface. That didn't work. I saved the log immediately afterwards. MiCo1972 6 Posted November 5, 2025 Author Posted November 5, 2025 In the web portal, I click on the "Play on another device" icon in the top right-hand corner and select my computer, which also appears there. Then I click on "Play" for a film, but nothing happens. If I start Emby Theatre on my computer instead of the Emby app and do the same thing, it works. Kind regards, Michael
