Anyone here using third-party app stores on iOS for Emby? How’s your experience been?

I’ve been seeing a lot of talk lately about people using third-party app stores to install Emby or related apps on iOS — especially since Apple’s restrictions sometimes make it tricky to use certain features or beta versions.

I’m curious if anyone here has actually tried installing Emby from one of those alternative app stores (like Scarlet, AltStore, etc.)? How stable has it been for you? Any issues with playback, updates, or account syncing?

I’m trying to figure out if it’s worth going that route or if I should just stick to the official App Store version. Would love to hear what’s worked (or not worked) for you all.

Hi, just for reference we are not currently listed in any third party iOS app stores. That's not to say we might not be in the future, but we'd have to research each one individually and see which one might make sense for us.
