vincen 71 Posted November 3, 2025 Posted November 3, 2025 Hi It's a problem I have already encountered few times. I add a new movie in Emby properly named (movie name (yearofrelease) [tmdbid=xxx]). Emby recognises it properly excepted that for the poster image it's going to take the one of an other movie that has a vague ressemblance of name Here is an exemple of a french movie named Rebelles (file named: Rebelles (2019).FR.1080p.x264.DTS [tmdbid=569814].mkv), the description and actors are correct but the poster image is completely wrong ! I have tried to unrecognise the media, restart emby and then reassociate but not better what is the cause of that problem ? So far the only thing working is to move away during 2/3 days the media and then putting it back but it's quite annoying ! Thanks Vincèn
GrimReaper 4739 Posted November 3, 2025 Posted November 3, 2025 What is the order of your library image fetchers?

GrimReaper 4739 Posted November 3, 2025 Posted November 3, 2025 That's odd. Could you Refresh Metadata with Replace images toggled on and post server log?
GrimReaper 4739 Posted November 3, 2025 Posted November 3, 2025 (edited) What is your preferred artwork download language set for? As someone added no-language Star Wars Rebels poster under that Rebelles (2019) movie; if you have blank/none, that's the one you'd get; if you have English, query is likely falling back to null as no English poster available. Neminem 1518 Posted November 3, 2025 Posted November 3, 2025 Hmm thinking out loud here. Can you try renaming the movie and folder. folder : Rebelles (2019) [tmdbid=569814].mkv Movie file : Rebelles (2019) [tmdbid=569814] FR.1080p.x264.DTS.mkv

I'm setup to french for artwork download but I'm going to check with tmdb to get that wrong picture removed Sorry I didn't think to check on tmdb is everything was ok 21 minutes ago, Neminem said: Hmm thinking out loud here. You should check your library settings. Edit: @Luke, how it was even possible for "en-AG" to be queried - needed a help from Ai to even figure out which locale is AG - it appears Antigua and Barbuda? There's nothing even remotely similar in library settings metadata or image download language dropdown. Edited November 3, 2025 by GrimReaper Append

My fault: I'm setup for french for subtitles but english for metadata and images so your explanations are all good I'll follow-up with tmdb to get the medias corrected for that movie Thanks for your very quick help 1
