You can change your password.

Go to Emby settings/users and you'll see a password field. Enter your new password there.

Was your email used? Hopefully as you should have the key within there, and you should be able to recover the password.

Otherwise I believe you can copy the key from the settings of Emby.  Manage Emby Server -> Emby Premier -> Emby Premier Key.

With the Disk program I told you about, you can format any disk... disconnect the network cable from the PC and you won't be able to access it.

@Caliber It's time to stop and gather yourself. Make a plan before doing anything and start by shutting down and disconnecting your PC's.

That key might have never been yours and even if it was it has been compromised. If you bought a key directly from Emby they should be able to revoke it and give you a new one. Otherwise consider it a loss.

Whatever you paid and what was purchased with the money is no longer yours. Time to write if off unless you used a payment method that can be recovered.

If you shared ANY passwords, logins, access to anything it's time to make a list and change them all.

But you said you watched him login to a site. Was he on your system when he did it? If so then you shouldn't take any chances. Be safe and assume he might have seen and gotten more than you know.

Do not post any keys in here. If you want to be helpful you can contact the Emby devs/forum admins and see if they're interested in the list. If they want it you can send directly to them.

Then learn from this mistake and take a break.

@CaliberYou have been swindled and grifted. They had you pay them then they installed your server. Then they set up trackers to torrent material onto your server. Then they also likely can FXP things over and such. Then what they do is sell access to your server to other people. This is how they have so many. They are the lowest form of life.

Now to do something about it, how did they contact you? What is the username on this forum that was sending you these messsages?

The Emby keys he has likely aren't useful. He wants to create a server then abuse the free 30 device limit. Likely you have no key. Everything you were given was a grift and you got swindled out of 300 dollars. You should never pay in a form that you cannot dispute later. If you paid in something similar to cash this attracts these types of scumbags like moths to a bright light.

If you wish someone to be kind enough to help you need to actually do a little bit of the work yourself. Otherwise you will run into headaches later and come back to that same person again. They were kind enough to help once but likely will get wrangled in over and over helping. That is why most people avoid that sort of trap when people desperately ask for help. To actually get proper help do some of leg work, and explain what went wrong, and what you learned, and how you would proceed. Even ask the ChatGPT AI how to do this and get so far would be better than you have done so far.

That is how you got taken advantage of. They understood your weakness was allowing a complete stranger access to anything on your home network. Apologies you became prey to some underhanded scumbag. They deserve to rot in the 7th layer of hell reserved for child molesters and kitten stranglers. Worst types of people go there.

You should have started with this. Casaos uses docker. In order to use your drives with emby and docker you need to set up the volume mounts in casaos config.

I tried the other emby keys and none work it's just made up numbers and letters but the main issue is I formatted everything even my computers but even on a fresh install my computers get infected right away. I'm not really sure what's going on but I can't even format a computer it gets messed up as soon as it hits the internet.
