Local Artwork Posters be cropped at the top and bottom. AppleTV Version 2.0.1 (7)

Hello

on latest AppleTV Version 2.0.1 (7) most of my local saved artworks will get cropped top and bottom with a empty grey bar!
Even old Files that where displayed without problems on older App versions are now cropped!

unsing local artworks for many years and never had this problem on any of my emby Apps

for comparsion on Web App and Iphone App there are no Problems and posters are fully displayed without grey bars

 

 

 

please bring old image handling back to appleTV app like it was all the years before

thanks for confirming that im not alone

yes emby apple team please undo your change to artwork you did in one of the latest versionens

the years before it worked without problems and showed the poster in full and not cropped

im also in the beta test programm for emby and can confirm in all of the latest beta builds had the same problem with the artwork

Emby server: 4.9.1.90

You should try refreshing the metadata. Did you have or had cover art installed? I am on the Apple TV and don't see this at all.

Hello, refreshing the metadata doesn’t make any difference. The black bars are still there.

Yes, I have CoverArt installed. I think there must be something wrong with the Apple TV app, because in any web browser and on the iPhone the covers look fine.

yeah refreshing dont help and the crop only happen with local artwork i added myself to my media (nfo and images)

but i do this combi for years now with emby and appleTV never a problem but since one of the latest server or appleTV update i got on many poster the crop bars and only on appleTV no other app had this strange bars only on appleTV

so i dont know it can not be that hard to figure out what was changed in the latest version to nail it down
because on my end i did nothing change only update embyserver and appleTV app allways to the latest

 

im also willing to invite every one to my emby server to see the problem with own eyes  just write me a PN

come one please i dont know what context your need?
if i browse my stuff on appleTV some artworks now show empty borders an top bottom 

you have to check what you did changed in the appleTV picture proccessing because for years it worked without problems
and now only appleTV is the one who mess with showing artwork correct

its clearly you did change something on the appleTV app because every other emby app i use show the same artwork correct!

i made again pictures from 4 Apps (Infuse AppleTV iphone and Webclient Firefox) 

only AppleTV shows weird borders 

im happy to invite you to my server so you can check yourself with a AppleTV and compare the Artworks with other apps
