biggsdog 2 Posted November 1, 2025 Posted November 1, 2025 Attempting to navigate to any show/movie menu on tvOS results in an error message in the client after failing to load. These menus work fine on a web browser in Windows and in the Emby client for iOS 26.0.1. The main menu loads, as do LiveTV menus and it seems if I directly play the files in tvOS, the files play fine, but this still leaves me unable to navigate the menus to select exactly what I want to watch. @SamES Quote embyserver.txt

Hi Luke, I am in the main menu of the Apple tvOS Emby App and attempting to navigate from that menu into a show's/movie's menu where I can then select episode's/movie's Play button. It is the menu between the main menu and playing the video where I get that "invalid arguments" error. Oddly enough I've discovered the Resume Play feature works for me. What I have been doing as a workaround is beginning to play an episode in a browser window on my Windows PC, skip ahead a few minutes, then go to the Apple TV "Continue Watching" feature in the main menu and resume play, but select the play from beginning option. The menu works fine in this case. Edited November 4, 2025 by biggsdog 1
SamES 1056 Posted November 7, 2025 Posted November 7, 2025 Can you please attach a photo showing which button causes this issue, and what you menu layout looks like? I can't reproduce this issue so I suspect it is something unique to your setup.
Solution biggsdog 2 Posted November 8, 2025 Author Solution Posted November 8, 2025 (edited) I completely wiped my kubernetes cluster and reinstalled it and the issue disappeared. Thank goodness for GitOps! Edited November 8, 2025 by biggsdog 1
