I'm having an issue with the current Windows Emby version 2.234.2.0: the trailer starts to load or play, but then the YouTube trailer stops. Everything works fine in the browser and on Android, so it seems to be a Windows app is

Partially fixed in the latest beta but there’s still ads in some trailers.

If you happen to be using a VPN connection together with Emby, you may be running into an option available to Youtube content providers to limit any playback on VPN connections and related features.  In other words, using VPN to connect to any Emby server may cause a Youtube limitation.  If you don't use a VPN, then this would not apply.  If you are using a VPN to connect, try turning your VPN off and see if that helps with YouTube trailer playback.

Youtube feature play for content providers on how they could limit sharing their content through Youtube.  This limit would possibly change for each Youtube member.  Just thought I would mention this.  It may not have anything to do with your trailer playback issue.
