chrisrobbins1970 82 Posted October 31, 2025 Posted October 31, 2025 (edited) I enabled COLLECTIONS and started building my collection... So far so good..however i see this under some of the collections.... Double version under the Addams family..Looked at the Addams family and see this.... Looked at the Addams Family folder, NO duplicates..Both versions are in separate folders.. Looking at the movie library settings,.. If I change Muti-Version to NONE... I get this... All those duplicates are TRAILER-TRAILER.mp4...BUT the muti-versions go to this... Put the muti-version back to ... Latest movies go back to normal but the multi-version go back to the... What can I do to fix this??? Edited October 31, 2025 by chrisrobbins1970 edit photso
GrimReaper 4739 Posted October 31, 2025 Posted October 31, 2025 Based on the images, I'd guess your TAF 2019 version was identified as 1991 version (although you have 2019 poster, Title below the poster in un-merged list is “The Addams Family 1991“) hence you're getting them merged. Check your 2019 version metadata and possibly Re-Identify as correct version.
Luke 42077 Posted October 31, 2025 Posted October 31, 2025 Are your trailers really named trailers-trailer?
chrisrobbins1970 82 Posted October 31, 2025 Author Posted October 31, 2025 yes, have been for years...never had an issue
chrisrobbins1970 82 Posted October 31, 2025 Author Posted October 31, 2025 IS there anyway to SPLIT the files, so I can look at the metadata?
GrimReaper 4739 Posted October 31, 2025 Posted October 31, 2025 There's a "Split versions" button at the bottom of item detail view. Or you can just repeat what you did here: 9 hours ago, chrisrobbins1970 said: If I change Muti-Version to NONE... They're split there.
Luke 42077 Posted October 31, 2025 Posted October 31, 2025 Keep in mind that once you split them you will have to handle merging and splitting those files manually going forward.
