Trailers Not Working - Theatre, Android, Samsung Apps

Hey guys i know this is starting to be a common problem for some users, my Trailers have stopped working in the apps Emby Theatre, Android app and the Samsung tv app. The trailers work using the web app though.

 

As you can see i have the trailers plugin installed. I have also downloaded the youtube trailers manually for now and this is working fine.

Yes I noticed they had stopped working last night also.

Hi Luke, any update on trailers?

Latest versions of Emby for Windows & Server, trailers stopped working at approx the orgininal post date.

I'm selecting the trailer tab from movie view, not using the trailer plugin so it might be a different issue.

Trailers tab working fine on browsers and IOS apps its just Emby for Windows.

Hi Luke, any update on the Emby for Windows trailers button why they suddenly stopped working?

Is youtube blocking requests, is that the issue?

I just installed the latest Samsung version and i can confirm the trailers are working. Hopefully the Windows version wont be far behind

Trailers are still not playing on the Samsung app on my TV after reinstalling the app.  No problem playing them on the iPhone and Win11 apps.
