Subtitles off only on a specific show

I have a show that has multiple subtitle options on all episodes but the default is always set to off. I have subtitles set to be on and it works on all media except this one show, what could be the reason for this?

My profile preferences have Always play subtitles on. I just find it odd that the one show is not working and I have to select them manually. The subtitles are my preferred language (English)

Are those internal or external subs? Are they properly flagged? Can you share a screenshot of those subs MediaInfo details from About section all the way at the bottom of item detail screen?
