Luke 42077 Posted October 27, 2025 Posted October 27, 2025 Hi, did you try clicking the gear button in the video player?
bobbee001 4 Posted October 27, 2025 Author Posted October 27, 2025 I assume you mean the Roku, but I didn't see anything that seem ed to pertain.

speechles 2055 Posted October 28, 2025 Posted October 28, 2025 Not sure I understand. This is the Windows and Xbox forum. How is the Roku being used? Should this be in the Roku section of the forum? The Roku does not allow any application to modify the video player aspect ratio. We can only scale the video player into a smaller size. Like apps do with a small videoplayer in one of the corners. It is not possible to fix the aspect ratio during playback through. Any attempt to enlarge the video player beyond the screen edges corrupts the video signal. We have tried to do this. The video buffer the Roku uses does not allow alterations. We are stuck in the middle with nowhere to go. You must use the options your TV offers to change aspect ratio. There should be a zoom option to fit 4x3 content into 16x9 frame with cropping. There should also be wide/16x9 option to stretch if that is why you desire. Unfortunately when using the Roku you must manually change aspect ratio via your TV remote control.
